Let's get the ball rolling!

Currently this project is an idea. But I do plan to bring it to fruition. Considering what I am proposing, there will be alot of opposition to any movement to make this happen. How can this be countered? I can only think of one thing short of violence (which I'm totally against) and that's lots of money.

To start, I'm going to investigate founding a non-profit organization for this initiative, I'll use my own funds if need be, but if you can donate, that would be great.

The second point of leverage I can think of is tapping into the Information Technology community - meaning - programmers, IT managers, technicians etc. These people will instinctively realize that what I'm proposing makes complete sense, and is very easily achievable with modern technology and proper management.

So, until I get the organization formed, I invite you to post your comments and leave your contact information for future reference.

I think this idea of allowing citizens to run the government by voting on issues via their computers is the only viable solution to the current ills we are all so familiar with, with our existing system of governance.
